This web site is a hobby, maintained year-round on Monhegan Island, Maine. You are welcome to contact me regarding Monhegan.info or basic information about Monhegan Island. Please direct your reservation requests or "Where's the best place to stay?" type questions to those links and phone numbers provided in the 'Accommodations' section of this site, listed on the right.

Below is a list of free or reasonably priced quality services and tools that I currently use to upkeep this site, for your reference. They are based upon 10 years of trial and error.

• OCC Hosting - a nice alternative to the big box hosts, and I store several other sites there for no additional cost.
• Taco HTML Editor (for macs) - simple to use and only $25.
• Fetch Softworks (for mac)- upload web pages and images for $29.
• Open Source Web Design - a wide variety of free web designs.
• Canon Powershot S2 IS and Powershot SD 1200 IS - one for awesomeness and one for pocketable ease.
• Adobe Photoshop Elements - everything the non-professional needs for editing photographs, only $50.
• Apple iMac - I'm left handed, and for me working with a pc was like trying to cut material with right handed scissors: painful and messy. I wonder how many left handers choose Mac?
